The ancient way explains why Africans who move to any country in Africa, should be recognized as having immediate citizenship in that country.
1. Can a tortoise give birth to a rabbit?
Of course not.
Then how can a tortoise born in Africa give birth to rabbits just because that tortoise gave birth on a different continent?
Can a papaya become a paw paw in another country and no longer a papaya?
Yes, by word, but not by genetics or birthright.
Both are still each other.
2. Is a piece of paper stronger than blood or spirit?
Of course not?
Then how can a marriage certificate turn an alien into a Gambian?
And even if this is possible, should not also that same powerful piece of paper, turn the Gambian into an alien?
3. Africans outside of Africa are called the African Diaspora.
Why?
Because we are Africans, of course.
How can we automatically be Africans but not automatically citizens of any country?
Truth stares us in the face then and tells us that any country an African Diasporan chooses to call home, allows, by birthright, that African to be recognized as an automatic citizen of that country.
