Restating What Was Obvious in 2023, But Many Excuses Were Made For Shurmur

Pat Shurmur was a head coach in the NFL. There's no excuse for being so mediocre. His play calling and design is out in the open since Shedeur is not there to call his own plays and change plays.
Shurmur also fails as a Quarterback Coach. Think of the effect on the white man's psyche to be a failed NFL coach, the supposed-to-be best of the best, who now must try to get some come up by taking orders from a successful charismatic black coach who has come up through playing at hall of fame level and also coaching high school and HBCU level teams, and now is in the lower tier of the college big leagues. Shurmur absolutely does not want Deion to succeed. Shurmur thinks his serpent in the tree manner is so deceptive and so beguiling that he can fool all of the people all of the time. Shurmur is married to the larger collective who want to see black people fail but still want to make money off them.
It is well known by others that black people are susceptible to allowing their whitewashed white-filtered Christian beliefs to affect their natural ability to detect liars, and then when we do, we give them the benefit of the doubt.
When deceitful people know you are on to them, they up the illusion and trickery. Deceivers will pretend to believe in the same god as you and believe in the same virtues and values as you. As long as Shurmur is at Colorado, the win against Iowa State will be like Indian Summer, something that's brief and in no way will lead to the return of Summer.

Shurmur is word Mercenary from Mur-Shur-Naru. Mur means overseer, governor, architect, bond, bind, put in a bind, and has the noose as a determinative. Kher includes the meaning of spirit, soul, truth, victim, attacker, savior, kill, war. Naru is rear, head, chief, family, fish, victory, the resisting flow to the rising tide of truths. Mur and Naru are names of the vulture, which, in the form of turevul is turemul is turemur is turmuer is word turmoil. And in the form of turevul is pure evil.

Most Recent Evidence Of Malfeasance

2025 Iowa State vs Colorado | College Football Full Game

1. 1st possession-1Q 11:59 1st down–run left, short side #29 Micah Welch–1 yd
2. 1Q 11:36 2nd and 9 – run left, short side #18 Kam Mikell-no gain
3. 1Q 10:56 3rd and 9 – pass complete over middle to #8 Joseph Williams-6 yds
4. 1Q–10:20 4 and 2- punt
Mikell is not a better runner than Hayden. Imagine what would have happened if one of those useless runs had been a pass, or at least a Hayden run.

5. 2nd possession - 1Q 8:30 1st down from CU 13 yd line-run middle Welch-1 yd
6. 1Q 8:12-2nd and 9-pass, then QB run up middle- 6 yds
7. 1Q 7:30 - 3rd and 3-run left Welch- 2 yds
8. 1Q 6:55-4th and 1- punt
We can see the predictability and fallacy of the play calling. The two plays so far that gained the most yards were a QB run and a downfield pass.

9. 3rd possession - 1Q 5:04 1st down from CU 10 yd line-swing pass left Welch-incomplete
10. 1Q 5:00 2nd and 10- swing pass left Mikell- too high, incomplete
11. 1Q 4:56 3rd and 10- pass left Williams-complete, but a poor low pass-13 yds
12. 1Q 4:50 1st down—QB run left- 24 yds
13. 1Q 4:20 1st down-run left Dallan Hayden #7- 2 yds
14. 1Q 3:45 2nd and 8-pass left Omarion Miller #4-complete, good throw catch and run 8 yds
15. 1Q 3:15 1st down-RPO left-started to run but then quick toss to Sincere Brown #8-complete 7 yds
16. 1Q 2:40 2nd and 3- pocket pass, then QB middle run- 6 yds
17. 1Q 2:14 1st down-pocket pass left to endzone Omarion- incomplete defensive PI
18. 1Q 1:59 1st down on Iowa 14 yd line-run designed to go left but cut back to middle -Welch-6 yds
19. 1Q 1:35-2nd and 4-RPO right-pass deflected intended for Welch
20. 1Q 1:20-3rd and 4-run left Welch-5 yds
21. 1Q 0:39-1st and goal from 3 yd line-wildcat to Mikell-false start on Zylon Crisler #72
22. 1Q 0:05-1st and goal from 8 yd line- run right Welch with Seaton pulling-TD
Not a good mix of run and pass or location of run and pass. Put Hayden and Welch in at the same time, throw passes to each side and across the middle, run off tackle, between tackle and middle to both sides. Success came from running middle and right and passing downfield. This will certainly be the same for each quarter of analysis.

23. 4th possession - 2Q 12:00-1st down from CU 20 yd line- run right to short side Mikell-8 yds
24. 2Q 11:35-2nd and 2-run right Mikell, Seaton pulling-3 yd loss due to a ridiculous predictable play to short side of field
25. 2Q 11:04 3rd and 5-pocket pass to Zach Atkins #85-incomplete, poor throw, blitz
26. 2Q 10:55- 4th and 5-punt
2nd and 2 and still had to punt the ball. How about 2 RB's and 3 WRs on 3rd and medium to long?

27. 5th possession - 2Q 6:24-1st down from CU 24 yd line-pass middle Williams-big gain 20+ yds
28. 2Q 6:10-1st down-run left Welch-3 yds
29. 2Q 5:24-2nd and 7- wonky trick play where the ball changed hands about 4 times then Salter throws to high to receiver on right side behind line of scrimmage. This play is extra idiotic as if CU had exhausted all other possibilities to move the ball. SO far 29 plays no passes downfield to Omarion or Sincere and only 1 run with Hayden. This is criminal negligence and dereliction of duty, but it isn't if you recognize the smile in your face and all the time they want to take your place.
30. 2Q 5:20-3rd and 7-pass left side to Quentin Gibson #15-dropped short of line to gain, incomplete.
31. 2Q 5:15- 4th and 7-punt

32. 6th possession - 2Q 4:15-1st down from CU 48 yd line-run left Welch-no gain
33. 2Q 3:50-2nd and 10-pocket pass to Atkins leaking out from left side and moving toward sideline, should have just stopped and turned around without going towards sideline-complete 4 yds, Atkins slipped after catch
34. 2Q 3:00- 3rd and 6-quick screen pass to Omarion-4 yds
35. 2Q 2:14 - 4th and 2--punt

36. 7th possession - 2Q 0:13-1st down from CU 40 yd line-pocket pass then QB middle run-4yds, CU timeout
37. 2Q 0:04-2nd and 6-pass right to Sincere-10+ yds, CU timeout
38. 2Q 0:02-1st down-57 yd FG attempt-long enough but missed right Buck Buchanan #43-halftime As you can see, the first play of every drive and every 1st down, is almost always a dead giveaway, throwaway and wasted, unless it's a pass play. There were 7 possessions and only 7 points, but in the second half there were 4 possessions and 21 points. We will see it is due to the QB run and downfield pass.

39. 8th possession - 3Q 14:56 1st down on CU 27 yd line-run right cut back to middle Welch-3 yds
40. 3Q 14:34-2nd and 7-pocket pass to Omarion on left side-busted coverage, complete TD

41. 9th possession – 3Q 9:17-1st down CU 49 yd line-run left-Hayden-4 yds
42. 3Q 8:50: -2nd and 6- pass right to Williams-14 yds
43. 3Q 8:25-1st down-pocket pass, flushed right, thrown away out of bounds
3Q 8:11-2nd and 10-false start Zarian McGill #58 center
44. 3Q 8:11-2nd and 15-run left-Hayden-6 yds
45. 3Q 7:45 -3rd and 9-pocket pass then QB run left-14 yds
46. 3Q 7:14 -1st down-run left-Hayden-3yds
47. 3Q 6:35-2nd and 7-screen pass right Williams-8+ yds
48. 3Q 6:05-1st and goal on 9 yd line and right hash-run left-Hayden-4yds
49. 3Q 5:20-2nd and goal on 5 yd line and left hash-run left-Hayden-2 yds
50. 3Q 4:40 -3rd and goal on 3 yd line and left hash-pocket pass to endzone, Williams TD

51. 10th possession – 4Q 13:29-1st down CU 18 yd line-run right to short side-Hayden-1 yd
52. 4Q 13:05 -2nd and 9-pocket pass to Omarion-way downfield middle-incomplete, double coverage, mistimed jump.
53. 4Q 12:47- 3rd and 9-pocket pass to Williams-complete 14 yds-Williams 15 yd unsportsmanlike after the play
54. 4Q 12:41-1st down-pass roll right-Sincere-incomplete
55. 4Q 12:28 -2nd and 10-pass left to Atkins-complete 7 yds
56. 4Q 12:23-3rd and 3-run right-Hayden-7 yds
57. 4Q 11:25 - 1st down-run right-Hayden- lose 1 yd
58. 4Q 10:40- 2nd and ll-pass left to Gibson-complete-9 yds
59. 4Q 10:05- 3rd and 2-run left-Welch- lose 1 yd
60. 4Q - 4th and 3 on CU 46 yd line-punt
As you can see the last 1st down play and 3rd down play are extra special ridicule worthy. At least one of them should have been a pass with a QB run only if necessary. It is not the QBs job to run the ball if the players and coaches are executing properly.

61. 11th possession- 4Q 7:07 - 1st down on Iowa 18 yd line-Salter fake handoff to Hayden right and QB run left-4 yds
62. 4Q 6:40 – 2nd and 6- Salter fake handoff to Hayden right and QB run left-4 yds-yes the exact same freakin' play.
63. 4Q -3rd and 2- Salter fake handoff to Hayden left and QB run right-lose 1 yd-yes, still the same damn play.
64. 4Q 5:40 -4th and 3 – 28 yd FG Alejandro Mata #16-good This should have been an easy 7 points. The gods will not continue to rule in your favor if you do not clean house.
These last three plays are the stupidest. Put Shurmur and crew in front of the firing squad. CU would have been better off using a hard running RB such as Hayden to run the ball three times, or using a spread formation and throwing the ball three times and each time, if no receiver is open, seeing if Salter can find a running lane out of the pocket. Anything is better than trying to let your QB be the workhorse pounder of the ball in the red zone. There should be no designed QB runs. QB should only run when the pass play breaks down. Salter is still only making one read, then running. No more plays where Salter has to throw the ball to a receiver behind the line of scrimmage.

65. 12th possession- 4Q 3:18 - 1st down on CU 15 yd line-run right-Mikell-3 yds
66. 4Q 3:10 -2nd and 7-run right-Hayden-22 yds-this time the formation was different and used Mikell as a lead blocker, who also signaled which way the play was headed.
67. 4Q 2:30 - 1st down-run left-Hayden-big gain called back due to holding by Omarion. This was the same play as the previous play using the same personnel. CU did nothing special. Iowa gave up.
68. 4Q 2:09 - 1st and 15- run left-Mikell-3 yds
69. 4Q 2:00- 2nd and 12-Salter fake handoff left to Mikell, keeper left, lose 5 yds
70. 4Q 1:52-3rd and 17-pocket pass to Williams down the middle-complete for long again. Despite jibber jabber of the tv analyst, saying this was great play calling, this was called because it had little chance of success if Salter, Williams and the OL did not all execute. Shurmur was hoping for a shorter completion and not a first down, so he could appear to be trying. Shurmur is using old deceptive game strategy. The only way a person can stab you in the back is if you relax because you think they got your back.
71. 4Q 1:30-1st down-run left-Hayden-1 yd
72. 4Q 1:25 - 2nd and 9-kneel down
73. 4Q 0:42 - 3rd and 12-kneel down
74. 4Q 0:03 - 4th and 14-kneel down-time expired.

Running play design and the RB's are telling the defense which direction the ball is going before the snap. No wonder Salter is a more successful runner on 70 percent fewer runs than the Rbs.
For Omarion on run plays, either teach him how to block and that sometimes just standing in the way is good enough. Teach each WR how to actually hit someone with a forearm, shoulderpads or just use your hands to give the DB a quick hard two open handed push to the chest. OR simply take Omarion out of the game on run plays.

I have no idea why all the professional level coaches on CU's staff haven't met with Coach Prime individually and privately and told him that a whole lot of something ain't right with Shurmur as OC and QB Coach.
The main ones should be:
1. His sons
2. Nelley, Dukes The Scoop, Pacman, Michael Irving, Louis Riddick, RG III, Shannon and others who have access. Surely Saban knows better, but perhaps doesn't care for Deion to know better because Saban's legacy and superior coaching ability would be in jeopardy. You see how, when the playing field got a little more even for teams and players, Saban ran out of the game like roaches from Raid. Got the hell out of Dodge because he couldn't handle the mental smoke from having to actually think due to competing being a little bit fairer.

47. All of the above who claim to understand the game of football better than us outsiders, fans and hobby analysts. They just might understand more, but the results are still poor as if they understood next to nothing.

It's difficult for me to fathom that Deion and no one else on his staff or circle of friends, notices how jackleg Shurmur is. And now I have to put Gunnar White in the same category. Perhaps there's some behind the scenes stuff with the AD as to why Shurmur is allowed to make Deion and his players look bad. Can you say Stefanski-ism? Sure you can. But will you?
By the way, if Robert Livingston continues to use obvious dumb schemes including not using press coverage or modified hybrid zone in conjunction with a blitz, I'll put him in the same category as being incompetent or intentional.

Prediction

1. 5 wins, 7 losses
2. Season Record 3-4
3. Conference Record 1-3
