So the whole Micah Parsons lie fest was about Jerry Jones being unwilling to admit that he has made multiple poor decisions as a General Manager and Owner. He was looking for a way to save his public face and was willing to lie on, and attempt to disgrace, Parsons in order to do so. He did not want to admit that superior intelligence simply based on being monetarily rich or based on being male, or based on being bleach bland skinned, or based on lip-servants, are all false positives.

The side-note is that, NO, Dallas will not resign George Pickens, for the same reason they blew their nose at, and snot rid of Micah Parsons.

Although I hate to do it, it was smart of Dallas, or perhaps they lucked into it, to get George Pickens at about $4M and then try to trade him at about $30M value. In order to get this value, Pickens must be traded before 4pm on November 4, 2025. This requires Jerry Jones to trick a team into betting on their ability to re-sign Pickens before the end of the season and do so at less than free market value. This requires the other team to think they can trick Pickens into re-signing before free agency. Who knows what will incentivize Dallas, another, team and Pickens. The main controller is George Pickens as long as he does not allow himself to become Easy Pickens. Dallas is not going to tag Pickens, it will put them in the same boat. Any team that trades for Pickens is in the temporary driver's seat over Dallas because they can give Dallas some value, but not free market value, because if Dallas does not trade Pickens, Dallas loses all advantage and gets little to no return on investment. The value the other team gets must be realized this season.

This means Dallas will not get an impactful (I.e,, expensive) defensive player before the trade deadline. If they do, and don't trade Pickens, it will be continued show of how unstoppable their stupidity is. This will be another should of, would of, could of done better years ago, if Jerry Jones would just go sit in his dungeon, count his money and his servants, chief among which are his lost in space children.
