Anopheles: Poquito Mosquito by Usiku
Anopheles Mosquito contributing to malaria,
Not even knowing you're a carrier,
For plasmodium to cross the blood barrier.
You're an insect born to bite,
Taking all the blame for a parasite,
One you tolerate but didn't invite,
Yet causes problems day and night.
Along comes scientific man,
Swatting poquitos with chemicals in hand.
Anopheles, just one of thousands of types,
But now all mosquitoes are affected by the fight.
Will any of your children survive,
Net after net of insecticide?
When humans host the same parasite within,
Is it necessary to eliminate their kin?
Has annihilation ever been a fix?
Won't restoring balance allow all to exist?
Maybe Poquito, expand what you eat,
Or be careful of the company you keep.
Will it change the world we know,
If there are predators but no mosquitoes?
Will other relationships suddenly go,
Causing another sickness to develop and show?
Will the effects be poquito?

We need something to clarify everything for us, because we get confused...but if we use the concept of Asili, we will understand that whatever it is they are doing, whatever terms they use, however they come at you, you need to be thinking about what? How is this going to facilitate their power and help them to dominate me? -Marimba AniWednesday, April 25, 2012
