"Free and critical minds can emerge only by a return to the source-the primary sources. A free and critical mind takes nothing for granted and is not intimidated by "authorities" who frequently may be more confused than the general public. Free and critical minds seek truth without chauvinism or shame."-Asa G. Hilliard III

We need something to clarify everything for us, because we get confused...but if we use the concept of Asili, we will understand that whatever it is they are doing, whatever terms they use, however they come at you, you need to be thinking about what? Defining Meanings: Routine Spontaneous Excitement Climax
Unity Consciousness #639

.

Common & Fundamental Definitions Of Routine

One of the most common definitions is a routine is a series of steps performed that same way each time such that it becomes regular, boring, dull, unexciting, unimaginative and painfully predictable.

In contrast, the fundamental definition of routine is: logic. Logic is a process.

Advantages & Disadvantages Of The Fundamental Meaning Of Routine

Based on all messages relayed thus far about logic and process, you know routine is a wonderful thing. Routines are necessary for systems such as the ecosystem to work. The universal ecosystem, Earth's ecosystem and our body ecosystem all depend on routine. As such, routines exist due to imagination and the creative process. What does it take to get the routine of your heartbeat and breathing to work together? These routines excite me, just as the routines that allow me to walk, talk, etc.
A routine can be detrimental if you stick to it without review, edit or updating. Because everyone and everything is changing, so must routine.

Common & Fundamental Definitions Of Spontaneous

One of the most common definitions of spontaneous is: something unplanned, that goes with the flow, is down with whatever, being willing to do something new without edit or review, something not given much thought or analysis, something done on the spur of the moment that is thrilling, stimulating, fun and exciting.

In contrast, the fundamental definition of spontaneous is: something that happens on its own or is decided without an outside influence being the initiator or main factor. Creation by the Creator was and is spontaneous.

Advantages & Disadvantages Of The Fundamental Meaning Of Spontaneous

Spontaneous is necessary to allow free will to function. Spontaneity occurs with every decision and with every continuation of a decision.
Being spontaneous is what allows you to act of your own accord without regard to the Creator or any created being. Though this carries with it a lot of power and responsibility, this part is usually left out of the decision-making process.

Some Examples Of Both

1. Digestion is a routine. Digestion is spontaneous.
Isn't it boringly exciting to know the body is working everyday on its own without consultation from the brain in your head?

2. Waking up and getting dressed are routines. Isn't it exciting to be able to do these things?
If these processes were spontaneous in the sense of the most common definition, and you woke up differently, without planning and just went along with what ever felt good at the moment in getting dressed and did this differently every day, you might be stimulated by it, but your day and all the other routines you depend on would be thrown off. This would not be exciting.

3. Practice is routine. If practice is boring, the thought of self-improving must also be boring.
If you're prone to crave and look for spontaneity, look no further than yourself. Just as you've been told, know yourself and know all else, including know spontaneity.
In other words, if you are bored by routine, it's not the routine itself that's the problem. It's what you are looking to get out of the routine. This has been mostly explained in UC#626.

4. The variety of foods existing on Earth is the result of routine and spontaneity.

5. I don't know about you, but the routine spontaneous reactions which cause Hydrogen and Oxygen to get together and form Water is exciting to think about and drink a lot.

Routine is within yourself. The spontaneous nature is within self. Some of both happens on its own. Some of both is up to you.

Clearly, spontaneous DOES NOT MEAN without planning, thought, reason, or logic. The opposite is true. Spontaneity depends on these things.
Here's another way to understand this point by understanding the fundamental definition of excitement: What we feel, think and experience as the good kind of “excitement” is simply the awakening of the same seed of logic that created the Universe.* When that logic encounters something new and different, the energy within self must create new logic and connections within you. It pulsates and vibrates at a higher level which creates a wave of excitement flowing through you that is stimulating. It is the spark of the moment during the spur of the moment. All of this logical routine process is the excitement you experience. Yes this makes you feel alive and crave more because it feeds the spirit of life within you.
Therefore, what you crave is actually your natural state of existence. You crave to know and experience yourself more often and more fully. You want to be immersed in this feeling which is to say you crave oneness with the stronger higher spiritual nature within self and within all else. You want these connections to be reinvigorated but you go about this the wrong way because you understand routine, spontaneity and excitement the wrong way. You are not alone.
More of the truth is that you can experience more of this excitement if you utilize your routines more fully, as intended, as an initiate of learning, in accordance with destiny, in the process of becoming one with the Creator of Routine & Spontaneity & Excitement.

*As indicated in UC#635, kinetic energy and potential energy and the transformation of one into the other is at the fundamental root level of all motion (energy). This motion, when you experience it, is a routine, spontaneous, exciting series of chemical reactions.
Once logic is activated and processes information to produce thought and that energy continues with other thought energy being added, which is often enhanced by physical sensation and stimulation, all this energy builds until it exceeds the threshold of its dimension. Thus it must be transferred to the next dimension.**
It is like spontaneous combustion of excitement within self just as Creation was a Big Bang Of Excitement within the Creator. I'm sure you can imagine this to be so and thus also understand why the use of logic that is the creative process that brings about the release of creative energy via a “climax” is also caused by routine process, is also spontaneous and is exciting. Creation was a climax of logic on all levels. It is possible to experience the stimulating feeling of climax emotionally, mentally and spiritually, not just physically. In fact, a lot of the climax excitement you experience in life is of the non-physical kind. This you already know. You will remember this when you reflect on what is exciting to you and list the reasons why and then compare that to the understandings in this message.

**Same is true of understanding. As it builds and exceeds the capacity of a dimension, that energy must be transferred. This is what is called growth, development, maturity and evolution. Each of these take place physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually.
**This is the same concept as to why bubbles break the surface when water boils. The energy building up in the water, exceeds the capacity of the water to hold more energy unless energy is released from the Water dimension into the Air dimension. Boiling water is the climax of energy. This is also the same principle as osmosis – a movement of energy from an area of high concentration to an area of low concentration. (See UC#77).

In the same manner that the Big Bang was an explosion, the Big Bang was a climax of creative juices (energies). In the same manner, a sexual climax is an explosion and is a Big Bang. In the same manner, anger also climaxes, explodes and is a Big Bang. Same is true when laughter erupts.
Asante Sana for listening. Now meditation.

African Prayer, Invocation, Meditation
Unity Consciousness #384

.

“Invocations are one of the most ancient forms of worship in the world, appearing in the literature during the Old Kingdom in ancient Kemet. Invocation is the physical act of appealing to a higher power for assistance. There are a number of forms utilized for invocation, including prayer, praise, and conjuration as a style of incantation.

African traditional religion accepts the notion that humans can appeal to authorities higher than humans, and this type of invoking of the divinities or the ancestors is at the heart of invocation in Africa.” (1)

“One could begin such an invocation by announcing the name of the most relevant deity. It is rare in Africa that the name of the Supreme Being is invoked; usually one invokes the names of the Ancestors or lesser spirits than the Almighty Creator.

“An invocation may be a prayer, but a prayer may not necessarily be an invocation in the African sense. One could express a prayer in a simple form as praise to a divinity, but in the case of an invocation, one is by doing the act of invoking to ask for assistance. Thus, to invoke is to seek aid and support by calling out to the divine.” (2)

“In most of Africa, religion expresses its invocation through appealing to the Ancestors. These are the intermediaries that can hear the appeals and be able to do something about them more immediately than the distant Supreme Deity.” (3)

Invocation and Prayer are one side of the conversation. In order to hear, recognize and understand the response to invocation and prayer, listening through meditation is necessary.

12 Of Life's Proverbial Lessons Through Metaphor
Cheryl's Birthday Logic Word Problem
Unity Consciousness #186

.

See, ”Cheryl's Birthday Logic Word Problem & Possible Solution.”

Life Lessons

1. Study & practice to recognize when you're being misdirected and distracted.

2. Each person has at least some portion of truth.

3. Don't let words confuse you when actions have already told you everything. This also applies to what you tell yourself. Knowing yourself clears up confusion because it defragments and unifies understandings separated in memory.

4. Not all choices are answers and not all answers are solutions.

5. Problems can be made more difficult by how they're presented and stated.

6. Problems can be made more difficult by having different contexts, meanings, definitions and understandings than that presented in the problem. Know yourself is the main context for the meanings of life and existence.

7. Understanding and assumption (false notion) can impersonate each other.* They are easily found out by testing their logic. Test understandings against understandings, assumptions against assumptions and understandings against assumptions. Critical mistakes occur in life when periodic logic testing is not performed. These tests are not scheduled but should take place as they come up through experience because that's where understandings and assumptions are born, developed and verified.

8. Although problems contain the solution, do not allow problems to dictate the solution. If you allow the problem to control the process, you will leave out solutions because the problem, representative of the lower self, does not want to go away. The solution must be brought out through study, which is often not a lengthy process.

9. The process to reach solutions often goes down many roads to be explored but ultimately must be abandoned. This is for wisdom. Yes, there must be a will in order to find your way. When you are ready to take the necessary steps, that is the quickest and the shortest path.

10. Word problems test listening, reading, comprehension and analysis skills. You use these talents all the time. Life's problems are word problems and logic problems, just to name a few types.

11. Just like word problems, life problems are sometimes not straightforward and contain erroneous and misleading information, intentional or not.

12. For some of life's most seemingly difficult problems, sometimes there is more than one possible solution because Maat is both fixed and variable.

Through all available languages, you are being told what you need to know to help you solve life's problems. You are being told personally and separately so you don't have to rely on secondhand information about basic needs that are spiritual. The Spirit of Truth is calling from everywhere your attention is. You are again atop the horizon, in position to step onto the other dimensional side. This di-side always exists where you decide.

Certain Desires | Meditation To Know Who To Listen To
Unity Consciousness #153

.

One of the things we all know is the desire to know who to listen to.

Prayer, I now know, is more than just asking and waiting. Prayer includes listening. Listening if often perceived as a separate activity in the form of meditation, which is fine as long as these two parts are kept together like inhale/exhale.

If I am to live a prayerful life, I must also live a life of meditation. I must listen at all times with all my sensing abilities to receive messages through the numerous ways the Higher communicates back to me. Listening goes beyond the ears, the eyes and the heart. Listening goes beyond listening to humans. It is by non-humans the first humans were taught and are still being taught.

Since all things contain truth, I must sometimes listen to sources I don't understand or don't particularly care for. I must especially listen to that which I fear because fear issues forth from the lower self and is used to keep me from moving Higher.

Again, What is Meditation?

Instantly, due to programming, I get images of someone sitting lotus-style, arms on knees, hands and fingers in some position, eyes closed, head at an angle and making sounds that are not every day words and holding the sound until the person seems to run out of breath.

Meditation is more about breaking far away from a busy routine for focusing on listening to something specifically and nothing particularly.

Since the Creator is trying to communicate with me whether or not I am praying, I must meditate/listen always in all ways, not just when I am consciously initiating the conversation through verbal prayer.

Meditation Is Spiritual Listening

Because prayer is spiritual communication, the listening part of the conversation is also spiritual. I must practice listening for the spirit's presence in all things. This will help recalibrate my instincts so I am always in a constant state of being tuned in to listening, always meditating.

Understanding comes from all places creation exists. Lessons are being taught and repeated continuously for every level of understanding. Through the process of prayer meditation I am understanding who to listen to.

Personal Growth: Read Poetry, Meditate, Change

While I believe the “belief of change” was awakened in many Americans, it will not stay awake if we allow the outcome of the election to be the crowning achievement of change. Our measures must be the progress of the common man and the natural world. No other notions or statistics will do. We must think about how to consistently advance against re-entrenching resistance and do so for the duration.

Instead of waiting on public changes to be created, read and meditate on poetry for change that is always achievable. Poetry, with its truths, insights and comparisons can help us retrace our steps back to that pure spot of living where dreams are just a matter of days away and possibilities are piled high, ours for the taking. This requires looking into the core of ourselves. It's scary, but necessary. The road to freedom always starts and ends within. Poetry can help us reclaim the self that has succumbed to mentalapsody.

The only change we can count on requires being open to a commitment to make a major change personally in order to get somewhere much better collectively. Written poetry and the poetry of life and nature can help in that regard. Poetry can help us connect with and explore our emotions, senses and beliefs while placing these things into the context of our present reality and the reality our purposes are intended to help create. Poetry evolves with us, teaching and nurturing as we grow. Sometimes it is calming. Sometimes it is invigorating. Often it is both.

Poetry leads us inward so we can see outward. Reading poetry and meditating on the concepts and comparisons found in its metaphors, similes and other instructions is a natural way to lubricate the moving parts of change - - us.

In addition to your overall comments, consider these two questions:
1. What makes you think this makes sense or nonsense?
2. What are the implications if voter turnout from this point forward is not the same or greater than Barack Obama's November?
