The term “Sub-Saharan” is a term used to identify original Africans. “Sub-Saharan” is part of the psychological warfare used by Europeans and adopted by many wannabes.
It is, of course, racist and ridiculous in additional ways.
“Sub-Saharan” is used but there is no corresponding category called “Saharan;” therefore, all the countries above the latitude of "Sub-Sahara" are left out.
The Sahara is in northern Africa. This desert runs from west coast to east coast and into Asia all the way to the Tigris-Euphrates River Valley. The Arabian Desert is the Sahara.

The use of the term “Sub-Saharan” is the same as dividing Africa into north and south. It doesn't matter any way, since all humans are “Sub-Saharan” African, all humans are southern Africans and 100% “Sub-Saharan.”
Those of you who have received DNA Testing results that state you are less than 100% “Sub-Saharan” African, ask for your money back. The tests are wrong, I.e, lying like a hooded rat.
The original people who gave birth to all humans living today were black and very short. As usual, white folks derogatorily call these people, “pygmies.” Truth is, the “your black Mama” joke is on them because these are their Ancestors.
All humans are the descendants of black Sub-Saharan pygmies.
Another racist reason White folks and other Asians want to separate human Ancestry into Northern Africa and Southern Africa is because they are still trying to steal the legacy of Kamite Egypt, Nubia, Sudan and all the rest of the heritage of the countries in northern Africa from coast to coast.
Another racist reason is that most Asians are still in desperate denial and trying to find (concoct) some evidence to prove human origins in Asia, especially since their bible stories have been blown out of the water by explosions of evidence of human origins in Africa.
Another racist reason is that a whole bunch of Europeans and other Asians mixed with Africans in the north of Africa.
These racists are the same ones using not-so-slick trickery of DNA Testing and are now putting out commercials talking about we should just love each other.
Why?
So they can call the continued worldwide black on white violence, “love crimes?”
