Honoring Harriet Tubman With Lipservice
Dystopian Society is a redundant term like saying Hot Fire, Wet Rain, Blowing Wind, Good Earth and Spirit-Soul.Only in dystopia, do we honor criminals and feel good about it.
Only in dystopia do we honor criminals with lipservice and other forms of symbolic gestures, and feel good about it.
What we are feeling good about is ourselves, that we are good people because we are able to get away with pretending to honor people with contradictions and without changing anything about our thinking or about our behavior.
Dystopia is dys-function and dys-connect and dys-parity, just to name a few.
So why do we honor Harriet Tubman?
Why do you think it's okay to turn a criminal into a hero?
