If you do not understand racism (white supremacy) and how it works, everything else you understand will only confuse you. - Neely Fuller

We need something to clarify everything for us, because we get confused...but if we use the concept of Asili, we will understand that whatever it is they are doing, whatever terms they use, however they come at you, you need to be thinking about what? How is this going to facilitate their power and help them to dominate me? -Marimba Ani

Mdw Ntr, Language Of Divine Speech
Unity Consciousness #230

.

One of the languages in Africa is called Mdw Ntr (called heiroglyphs by the Greeks). Mdw Ntr is the speech of nature. It is divine speech and sacred writing. This language was developed long before Kemet (Egypt) came into existence. It is the writing we see on the walls.

“Mdw Ntr is both the Kemetic term for their language as well as a key aspect of Kemetic cosmology. Jacob Carruthers stated that Mdw Ntr on a primordial level was reflective of the progenitive process, whereby the people of Kemet conceptualized the process of universal creation as one that was executed by the divine via the use of the spoken word. Carruthers stated that speech's centrality was based on the fact that speech was understood as a conduit connecting the living to the wisdom of their ancestors, and beyond them to the divine. Humans were compelled to engage in Mdw Nfr—Good Speech as a means of aspiring towards Mdw Ntr.

Carruthers suggests that the conceptualization of speech as the central act in the unfolding cosmic and human drama represented an attempt to reconcile human ideation and action, as expressed by Mdw Nfr, with the process of divine creation—Mdw Ntr. Thus human knowledge becomes an expression of the sacred principles that were believed to govern the universe.” (1)

“Therefore it is due to the importance of speech that one’s speech had to be carefully measured. Ptah Hotep stated, “All conduct…is measured”. Carruthers added “Measurement is the symbol of justice or Maat”. Hence this idealization of speech was not merely rhetorical, but was a fundamental part of the culture and the socialization processes (both formal and informal). It was expected that the truly educated person would demonstrate their practice of Maat through Mdw Nfr (Good Speech).” (2)

For these reasons and more, Theophile Obenga admonishes us to learn Mdw Ntr.

Per Asa Hilliard III, the language of KMT is the most beautiful in the world. It is alphabetic, and ideographic or symbolic at the same time. It is full of multiple meanings, simple and complex at the same time. It embodies the deepest of ]thoughts, using KMT and other African environments (i.e., plants, animals, people, tools, buildings, etc.), to convey deep thought.
