In order to control their own destiny, the Coach Prime led Colorado Buffaloes must win every one of their last four regular season games, and do so in dominating fashion, in order to give themselves the best chance to achieve a 10-2 record.
This gives them five raffle tickets.
1. The first ticket gives them the best chance to play for the Big 12 Conference Championship.
2. If they do not reach the conference championship or win it, the second ticket gives them the best chance to get an at-large bid to the playoffs.
3. If the first two tickets don't come to fruition, this third ticket gives them the best chance to get the best bowl game bid that their performance warrants.
In other words, coaches, staff, family support systems and players must have an extended period of intense narrowly funneled focus that allows them to optimize their performance. No mental lapses for the next 35 days. Thirty-five days to achieve what you are capable of, despite the self-inflicted wounds thus far.
Forget about what other teams are doing, except of course, the pattern habits of the next opponent trying to snatch your dream, your baby, out of your hands.
What will you do to protect this baby and fight for this baby who depends on you for survival?
Do what is necessary for the next four games and you will get two extra raffle tickets that are wildcards because they are guaranteed winners. What those two extra tickets will translate into will be revealed once the regular season goal is reached.
