Here we go again, closing in on the observance of another artificially implanted Valentine's Love Day.
Recently, in a message about charity, I essentially said, the meaning of the word love, as used by any two people, and between any two people, is elusive at best.
Two people rarely mean the same thing when they use the word love.
I now say, describing the word love, is nebulous at best, a lifelong process.

So when you say, I love you, you are saying, I, from my eye view, love, and extend that love to you (my preview of you from my eye view).

All love is conditional.Love is conditional that you love me at least as much in the way I express-manifest-exhibit-show-display love to you.
Love is conditional that it is okay if sometimes one of us loves a little more or a little less.
Love is conditional that it is never okay if one of us loves a lot more or a lot less.

So now, according to the facts, a verdict must be asked, how is it that hate is conditional but love is unconditional.

If love is unconditional and we are formed in love, born in love, nourished in love, cherished in love, then we should love everyone and all things. The only way to move from love to hate is for love to be conditional. And in fact, for love to also be conditioned by nutrition that helps form the much needed partition between truth and distruth, trust and distrust, guest and disgust.
You know love is conditional by the self-evidence of not loving every part and aspect of yourself.
So please stop claiming you can love someone else unconditionally.
Even if you love yourself unconditionally, loving someone else at least comes with the condition that they respect you, thus do not try to harm you.
Most people, love conditionally based on the monogamous fidelity condition.
Even love for a child is at least based on the condition that you teach them and correct them.Love is not some kind of holy spirit that descends and christens a relationship as a seal of approval for warm fuzzy feelings.
