The saying, a bird in the hand is worth two in the bush, is not clearly evident wisdom, instead the saying, as currently mistaught among miseducated humans such as mest of us, teaches us to be satisfied and not seek more, to be fearful of losing what we have. This is the logic of us who are so damnable smart.
With each instance of use of “a bird in the hand is worth two in the bush,” we are, being programmed to think that once you get something, take no further chances. This fosters the fear of not going after something because it might not work out. Hold on to that one bird for dear life with the restraint of fear life. Do not seek more than the immediate basic need of the moment, of the day, then start all over again tomorrow when you could have gotten three birds yesterday, eat one, breed the other two.
Flipping The Bird
A bird in the hand is not worth two in the bush if, what you think you have hold of is so unsecured, it can get away or be taken away, and that by virtue of you seeking to obtain more birds, the one in hand will be lost somehow. Come on now! Do you actually have the bird in hand or not?Get a better grip then. On your logic.
A bird in the hand is only worth two in the bush if:
1. the bird in the hand is thought to be secured , and
a) by taking steps to get a few more birds, you not only lose the one you have, but you don't get either of the two in the bush, and
b) you value the bird in the hand as the best you can do, and
c) you believe the bird in the hand is always able to sustain you, and
d) the bird in the hand that is always able to sustain you, is a magic bird that self-duplicates, requiring no further thought from you, and
e) your ability to have a bird in the hand is the extent of your capabilities, thus is reasonable justification to call it quits, and
f) this justification is not actually a way to justify fear under the misguided disguise of being satisfied, safe, sound, careful, wise.
Two Opposite, But Same, “What Would Jesus Do” Lessons That Explain Why You Should Not Let A Bird Keep You From Having The Nerve To Have Birds
1. First Example:a) To treat two birds in the bush as too risky to pursue, just because you already have one bird in hand is the same logic fallacy made by third servant in the Parable of the Talents. This servant was given one talent (maybe ten), but unlike the other two servants who invested their talents and doubled them, the third servant buried his talent(s). He was cast out because neither did he trust his own ability and neither did he trust the wisdom that it is better to try, fail and learn, rather than not try, not learn. The third servant's self-doubt exceeded his knowledge of self that had already proven, if you have the ability to catch one bird, surely you have the ability to catch another, even if the bird in hand gets away. And if you don't, the Lord will send angels your way, just as there are sufficient angels to care for the sparrow.
b) For unto every one that hath not the spirit of fear, to him shall be given, and he shall have abundance: but from him that hath not trust, faith and courage in the spirit of the Lord inherent in self, to him shall be taken away even that which he hath. Be faithful over a little (one bird) and this faithfulness discipline with show you where and how to get two more. Two more that perhaps others can't see or are unwilling to go after, or are not meant to see or pursue. In other words your birds in the bush are for you to pursue in accordance with your purposes, thus everyone's birds in the bush are different. Someone else's rightly made choce to hesitate does not make it the right choice for you. (Matthew 25:14–30 and Luke 19:11–27).
2.
Second Example:
a) A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush, runs directly counter to the logic of The Parable of the Lost Sheep. (Matthew 18:12–14 and Luke 15:3-7).
b) Unlike a bird in the hand is worth two in the bush that teaches us to not go after two if you already have one, the comparable of the lost sheep teaches us to value one of something, even if we already have two more. Value a penny, even if you have 99 cents, a million dollars.
Point Is, Don't Be Scared Of What You Already Have So It Keeps You From Having The Abundance You Are Being Shown That Is In Harmony With Your Primary Purpose And Secondary Purposes. Don't Waste Opportunities Based On Some Messed Up Fast Food Logic Requiring No Thought Process!
Furthermore, to be scared by the false sense of security of having one bird, is the same as the false notion that you only have one life, thus are sore afraid to die or suffer or endure struggle for the cause that needs your support in this current iteration of life's cycles. You gotta die at some point in time in some kind of way in order to be born again, renewed in spirit and renewed in flesh to get another glimpse of heaven before your next assignment in some recycled form.A life in hand now is not worth more than a second life, afterlife, reborn life, continuous life, everlasting life, This is because a life in hand, treated as singularity, and treated as all there is in exclusion to the next two lives that are closer in hand than we think, is a life lived with less value and less worthwhileness than the greater longhaul reincarnation reinvention of self, a promise proven everyday throughout the natural world of logic that functions not on logic humans such as us have made toxic.
A life in hand now is not worth more than honoring the lives of ancestors and descendants in the broadest sense of the tree of life and tree of knowledge of good and evil.Turning The Bird Again & Again
To believe that a bird in the hand is worth two in the bush is the same as putting all your eggs in one basket, and the same as pinning all your hopes to one carrier pigeon. If you have picked more than one “go to” saying you use to shortcut thought processing, at least make them make sense together.
A bird in the hand IS actually worth two in the bush when the knowledge gained and skill used to catch the bird in the hand, builds confidence that you can catch two more, even if you somehow no longer have the one you have, for whatever reason.Asante Sana Ur Heka Ashe Red Bull Sun & Them, the big bird in the hand whose soul of life grain energizes healthy logic wings with form and function lift capable of much greater flight and maneuverability than wings that are facades and serve as wishful thinking, quickly rising, quickly sinking Icarusian dreams never capable of surviving long time or long distance under any set of conditions because their hearts are not as light as a feather.
This Great Big Eagle flying on wings of dove, is the ever-coming one with a coat of many colors is IU-Sif captured, set free and regaining prominence, who is speaking, yet again, louder and clearer as a more than gracious courtesy reminder of what's going on, through Ezekiel 17The Eagle Flies With The Dove
Word rose is the All God in the form of Kefa, Keper, Khuukh, Ru-Ukh. This rose is also the fist, a solid unit formed of many rui. In this instance the fist is the hand of six fingers. Word fist is word fast, word fakh, word kakh, word hakh, word khakh, word khaakh, word fikh, word kikh, word hikh, word khikh, word khiikh. From this series of forms comes word fickle, an opposite meaning to the firm solid strength of the fist, whose grip, if unrelenting, unwilling to loosen or let go, becomes enough of a fickleness in the ointment to destroy the strength from within its own logic.Word glove is a form of Ru-Ukh, Kheper, Kherpu, the combination of double power of the hand to do works using great magic power as twelve, a number that also represents the Sun.
The All God Spirit-Soul, in the form of the rose and the rose plant, becomes the seed of the sun who fruits into the eagle who carries the rose branch in the fist of the eagle. Thus the sun as fist carries the mother as fist with him to do work. This is the eagle flying with the rose who is also word dove holy spirit. Word rose is a form of word soul and word khuu.
This brings together the souls of life in rock (earth), waters, fire, wind and their corresponding celestial bodies who are almost fully enthroned as the next, time to scoot over or be knocked over, co-rulers of this portion of this galaxy. Even at the Giri So level of awareness, there is much plain sight upheaval and fulfillment taking place because we are in the midst of the crossover of many things. The bird in the hand that was the northern night sun is no match for the four doubled-up birds in the bush. Thus what was established in the north must give way to what is being established by allied (all rui, all kui, alla alla, ahha ahha) forces being reborn, reawakened by the southward bound soldier whose broad objective is reversal of fortune.
