All this seems unlikely since during this time, Egypt was still going to war and having friendly relationships with the Israelites and folks who were still fleeing to Egypt left and right to save their lives and whenever famine arose.
Even if this is true that the Israelites captured Goshen from the Egyptians, the Egyptians must have gotten the land back before King Solomon's reign due to Solomon's relationship with Egypt and marrying Pharaoh's daughter. Also during the reign of Pharaoh Shishak, he attacked Jerusalem, which seems unlikely, if the Israelites were still in charge of Goshen. 2 Kings 17 and 18 tells us that even Joshua was seeking alliance with Egypt. This wouldn't happen if Goshen was Israelite territory. The story calls the King of Israel, Hoshea, but many indicators tell us most of the Israelite story is fabricated. It's doubtful they ever gained control of the land from the Red Sea to the Euphrates River. As real human history, it's likely they tried, killing millions in the process of following divine doctor's orders. By 2 Kings 23, Egypt was in control of the Israelites. After that, the Babylonians were in control.
The only possibility for the conquest of Goshen by Israelites is the Arab Arabian Shepherd Kings who ruled Egypt for a period of time.
So the Israelites, new school Jews, Christians and Muslims can find their heritage in these Shepherd Kings. The twelve tribes of human Jacob Israel are a figment of human imagination patterned after the twelve children of Ra (isRAel). The children of Ra = Jacob-El or Isiri-El are twelve in number. The promised land is in Amenta. Amenta is Lower Egypt, the land of Goshen, the land of corn. Literally and actually, above and below, the children of the corn are the elemental souls of life. These superhumans are the chosen ones written about and copied from the Egyptian Ritual called the Book of the Dead by latecomers and the Book of Coming Forth by those earlier connected. This spiritual text is the basis of the Jewish-Christian bible. Lower Egypt (Goshen) was a the place of refuge for mother and child, just as it was for mary and jesus.

How The Lie Multiplied Into Genocide
In the Egyptian version, it is the work of the superhuman elemental souls of life in Amenta who are on the side of the rising sun and lightness to destroy the superhuman elemental souls of life who are on the side of darkness. In the human realm, this is misrepresented to justify massacres among humans. The Promised Land in Amenta is not land promised to humans on Earth. Massacres did take place in the Canaan of Amenta, the Earth of Eternity. The monuments of Egypt bear no record of the supposed 500 year enslavement of Hebrews or that they were ever in Egypt. The monuments bear no record of Abraham as a Semite or of Jacob. There was perhaps a Shepherd King Hyksos/Hiksos Pharaoh, or a divinity named Jacob-El, because this name appears once. There is no record of a human Joseph who became vizier of Egypt. No mention of ten plagues, nor of a human exodus that would have left a scar on the land miles long and wide and would have decimated the land, especially in the desert and especially in the area where they settled down for 38 years in Kadesh-Barnea.However, these events are recorded in Egyptian records, but not as human history, but rather as events in the Lower Egypt of Amenta that took place among elemental souls of life, of which, on one side there are approximately 72, which is the same number of human Israelites who were said to enter into Lower Egypt called Goshen.
Jacob-El is the father of the twelve who were reapers of the corn in the harvest of Amenta.
This is why when you really try to understand the Jewish-Christian Bible in terms of actual events taking place on this earth among humans and actual geographic locations, then you will find large pieces that don't fit, thus we must quit taking any bible as the God's honest truth until we at least have the correct context upon which it is written. Once you get the context straight, you're no longer believing in jack and the beanstalk /corn stalk type stuff and looking for gold at the end of the rainbow and for the fountain of youth and many other things that people do thinking they exist on earth in simple human ways of viewing those things. Goshen is a form of Sekhem/Sichem/Shechem, a burial-place, the tomb, womb cocoon for the soul of life to be reborn in. This soul of life then emerges out of Lower Egypt and into the sandy wilderness before reaching the promised land.
