As stated in both of the previous two messages, there are medical conditions that are not neurodegenerative diseases but also trigger several Dementia Syndrome symptoms, including forgetfulness, thus these medical conditions are just a handful of the many conditions said to mimic Dementia.
1. Malnutrition - Vitamin deficiency and other forms of malnutrition.
2. Toxins - Many prescription medications and over-the-counter drugs can cause symptoms that look like Dementia Syndrome. Medications are common culprits in mental decline. With aging, the liver becomes less efficient at metabolizing drugs, and the kidneys eliminate them from the body more slowly. As a result, drugs tend to accumulate in the body. Elderly people in poor health and those taking several different medications are especially vulnerable.
We must not overlook the enormous amount of toxins in the environment produced by societies, toxins in food and toxins in personal care products. Then there are the spiritual, mental and emotional toxins as well.
3. Alcohol and other mood-altering substances.
4. Caffeine. The problem is not caffeine but drinking too much for wrong reasons of trying to overcome lack of rest and alertness. Also the purity of the caffeinated products we are drinking and the additives added by manufacturers and that we add. We are overdosing on caffeine. That's the main problem. Businesses built around the sale of fast food coffee and coffee everywhere you go, is an indicator of how far off the wagon trail we've strayed.
5. Diet soda.
6. Artificial sweeteners.
7. Delirium is one of the conditions that manifests similar to Dementia Syndrome. One of the ways Delirium occurs is after a toxic combination of medications. It is accompanied by shifting alertness, resulting in moments of sleepiness alternating with moments of agitation. Delirium is more often associated with visual hallucinations or psychotic delusions.
8. Vision and Hearing problems.
9. Depression also causes forgetfulness, disorientation, inattentiveness, slowed responses, feelings of low self-esteem and confidence, tearfulness, loss of appetite and concentration and memory problems.
Loneliness and social isolation are a part of depression and stress.
10. Bereavement and grief can cause a range of problems, from high blood pressure to irritability, hallucinations and loss of appetite.
11. Stress, especially OTSS (Ongoing Traumatic Stress Syndrome of Maafa Racism) and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.
12. Infections
13. Cancers such as brain tumors.
14. Stroke
15. Head trauma
16. Thyroid Disease. A malfunctioning thyroid gland can affect mental health and cause anxiousness or depression.
17. Kidney malfunction
18. Liver malfunction
19. Heart malfunction
20. Lung malfunction
21. Gluten intolerance (Celiac disease, an immune disorder)
22. Type 1 diabetes
23. Autoimmune diseases
24. Vascular disorders
As long as you can control the institutions, you can control the [thinking and] behavior of people. - Dr. Bobby E. Wright
If you do not understand racism (white supremacy) and how it works, everything else you understand will only confuse you. - Neely Fuller
We need something to clarify everything for us, because we get confused...but if we use the concept of Asili, we will understand that whatever it is they are doing, whatever terms they use, however they come at you, you need to be thinking about what? How is this going to facilitate their power and help them to dominate me? -Marimba AniSunday, June 7, 2020
