Amazing how clueless we are that not only are we revealing ignorance, but also stupidity when we refer to African traditional religions and African Mythology and Eschatology and religions such as Santeria and Vodu as Animists (animal worship).
We say this as if we ourselves are not animals.
Although this applies to all Supreme Beings and Deities, I am using African names in Judaeo-Christian form. God and Jesus are animals. Have been all their lives. Worshiping them is animal worship. Worshiping any God is animal worship.
The holy spirit in the JC Bible is imaged as dove, which is a bird, which is an animal. There are many other animal references, examples and metaphors used in religions, including animal references in the form of plants and other forms of creations. For instance, wind is an animal. So is Earth, Fire, Water, Atoms and anything you can name that is a primary creation. See Animal and Animate elsewhere. One is the noun, the other the verb.
Lucifer is an Angel who somehow was cast out and became a serpent and also a human with long ears and a long tail. Christians believe this.Many people believe in angels, and all of these believers believe angels have wings, bird wings they can hide or reveal. So these believers believe angels have a human form with animal wings, part human, part animal.
If you believe this then you gotta know that God and Jesus are also Angels and must also have wings. Hell, the ark of the covenant containing the Shekinah Glory is covered by seraphim (angels with wings, Maat) Seraphim is named after Serapeum and Ser-Apis, both words speaking to African Mythology and Eschatology, and both words containing the meanings of creations in forms that are not the human form, and humans that are neither male nor female, and the male animal (the bull) as a representation of the Sun). Only human fools believe they can believe in some sort of Supreme Being but not be animists on Earth, but when they die physically, they will become animists in Heaven as angels and animists in Hell as demons, both worshiping the Arch Animal in that domain.

Chronic Deniers Are Chronic Liars
Many will say, angels with wings are the glorified form of the soul, the transfigured form. And that this is not the same as what those Africans, Pagan, Satan Worshipers, Devil Worshipers, Santeria-ists and Vodu (Vudu, Voodoo, Vodou) were doing and are doing.Okay.
So it's okay for the soul, the spirit, and the Holy Spirit to be a combination of different animals, but humans in the flesh can't be. There can be no merging of humans with other creations, no integration, no seeing self as the same as another animals.
Newsflash: The combination of human animals and other animals in African Mythology and Eschatology is exactly about representations of spirit, soul, spirit-soul, not humans in the flesh.
But wait! It is about humans in the flesh who, in our physical makeup, are composed of many different animals.Hell, we use animal shit to grow plants for us to eat that become a part of our bodies. We use what comes out of other animals to keep us alive and healthy.
But we don't use human shit to grow plants for us to eat.These are the same people who call dogs and cats and horses, their children, part of the family.
By The Way, since the Holy Spirit is an animal, when we blaspheme (tell lies) the Holy Spirit, this is the only crime that will not be forgiven. Thus all animals telling lies about other animals, are in a hell of a lot of trouble, according to Christianity, and according to all other religions, all of which basically say the greatest evil is to speak ill of our God. So for example, this means there will be no racists or former racists in Heaven. Just stop going to Church and playing Church and saying Bible things.
This is seconded by Hebrews 10:26-27 which says, For if we sin willfully, after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remains no more sacrifice for sins, But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries. [Thus a foreboding of climate change and a fake we-got-this-under-control-so-continue-to-follow-us.]
Thus if you know better but don't do better, you are in a heaven of a lot of trouble, here, there and everywhere. Thus another way to understand you can run but you can't hide.
By The Way, these are the same people who look in the mirror in the bathroom, and see themselves as humans, but look in the mirror of other humans and call them animals, in a lesser than sense of worth, even though all humans look like all other humans then and now, except for minuscule physical variations. Thus these chronic deniers are at least telling a half truth, that the minutia are important; however they also, at their convenience, use the word minutia to mean something unimportant.
Thus they leave out, at their convenience, the who-doesn't-know fact that the large scale details are also important, and that both (variations and duplications) are equally important repetitions in a dynamically balancing solution that, when in motion, always contains temporary imbalances.
Who looks at their hands and feet or their arms and legs, and because they look different, say they are not the same? The same people who look at their fingers and proclaim one finger to be more better, higher evolved, and the other fingers to be lesser than.
The same people who look at a human baby crawling on all fours but do not see the baby doing the same thing as other quadrapeds, but then when the human baby moves on twos, that the other two limbs become different. And those limbs branching from our trunk are not the same as limbs branching on a tree, plant, river...
Thus we simplemindedly use the phrase, you have to crawl before you can walk, while not knowing “you have to see yourself as a being on all fours before you can see yourself as a being on twos and before you can see yourself as a being who can fly.” Thus before you can earn your angel wings. Thus this is the bell of understanding that must ring in your head before you can earn your angel wings (this is a more perfect rendering of the statement from the movie, It's A Wonderful Life, that says, “Every time a bell rings an angel gets its wings!”)
Thus an Angel, A God, is someone or something that helps another be saved (2 Timothy 3:7 and 1 Timothy 2:4, come to the knowledge of the truth, gain sufficient unity consciousness, thus sufficient knowledge of self and all else, thus knowledge not belief, thus knowledge that helps you live in harmony, coexist with all other creations rather than be a terrorist.
In fact, the ankh, often called the Egyptian Ankh or African Ankh or African Cross, is a combination of a female in one direction, a male in the opposite direction and cross [equator and poles (arms and legs, four corners divisions the circle)]. It is more comprehensive composite for those reasons, plus, I said male and female, not human male and female, thus the ankh is also representative of the quadruped and all primates and plants. This must be so, otherwise not even a representation as a white frail scraggly-haired human Jesus could not exist. Even making snow angels is representative of the ankh. Also people in choir robes and graduation gowns.Thus when most Christians see either a human representation of Jesus or see a Cross, even though each are often shown without the other, most Christians will still see the other symbol, the combined form, because they know the other representation is inherent.
This then is the whole point of the whole matter and whole mess.
