"Free and critical minds can emerge only by a return to the source-the primary sources. A free and critical mind takes nothing for granted and is not intimidated by "authorities" who frequently may be more confused than the general public. Free and critical minds seek truth without chauvinism or shame."-Asa G. Hilliard III

If you do not understand racism (white supremacy) and how it works, everything else you understand will only confuse you. - Neely Fuller

We need something to clarify everything for us, because we get confused...but if we use the concept of Asili, we will understand that whatever it is they are doing, whatever terms they use, however they come at you, you need to be thinking about what? How is this going to facilitate their power and help them to dominate me? -Marimba Ani

03.04.26 Update

So the question remains. When Greenlanders say they are people of color, what color are they talking about?
Are they saying they are colorful people, color-full people, people with color in them?
What does people of color mean?
What does it mean to you?

Clearly you Greenlanders are speaking of ancestry.

Where do people of color come from?
Are you saying, “I'm every color, it's all in me?” “I have color naturally.”

One of the things you are clearly saying and clearly said is, “we are not white people [colorless]!”

No one who is clearly not white-skinned, has to assert they are a person of color.

So to me, when Greenlanders say, we are people of color, the subtext is, I know you can see me, and I know you're looking at me thinking I'm white, but I'm not, I'm a person of color, not just me, this is our collective assertion. We know who we are. We know we are not white.
So then, where you from, son?
You must be saying you are not European.

No one who is clear about who they are, has to speak generically color palette-wise, and say they are a person of color.

Now to say, we are people of color, could be considered a statement of solidarity with other “people of color.”
It does not.

It does not mean we are people who do not think and act like or align with white people's whiteness ideology pathology.

And it definitely does not means we are colored people. A term recently reserved for black people, Africans, Negroes, and even the conflicted African-Americans and recent fractures.

So the question remains, what is the point of saying we are people of color?

While writing down these questions, this just came to me.
IQ can be used as a stand-in for Identity Quotient.

Why because?
Identity awareness is a better measure of intelligence.
