One of the things we all know is the desire to know what.

What Should I Pray?

Although I can pray silently, this silence pertains to words from the mouth. I cannot pray silently any other way because words are always being spoken by the rest of me. The rest of me is always praying.

So, since I am communicating all the time with the Mother of my birth, the Higher, what should I be saying foremost and first through prayer?

Of course I can pray for specifics, for this and that. However, I now know I must pray mostly for understanding. IF I pray in this order, I shall then know what specifically to pray for.

Help me gain understanding through the avoidance of experience
Help me gain understanding through the experiencing of experience
Help me gain understanding by transforming the experience as it is occurring

For the purpose of focusing, even if I do not pray for understanding of many things, I must at least pray for understanding of the one decision I am always making between the higher self and the lower self. I must pray for spiritual orientation, which is to say, spiritual understanding.

What Should I Pray? is best answered by How Should I Live?

In addition to living prayerfully in the pursuit of understanding, I must come to realize that the pursuit of understanding is praise. Praise goes far beyond a bunch of verbal accolades. Praise is not verbal words thrown into a verbal prayer to make it sound like respect while living disrespectfully. Praise is living in accordance with the Ancestor Spirit that calls and assists me Higher rather than the Ancestor Spirit that calls and assists me Lower.
