If you do not understand racism (white supremacy) and how it works, everything else you understand will only confuse you. - Neely Fuller

We need something to clarify everything for us, because we get confused...but if we use the concept of Asili, we will understand that whatever it is they are doing, whatever terms they use, however they come at you, you need to be thinking about what? How is this going to facilitate their power and help them to dominate me? -Marimba Ani

What Kind Of Test Is A Rapid Test For Covid-19?

Sheep Remain Locked In Flocked Allegiance To The Frag

I doubt it very seriously that the masses have broken out of their habit of not researching anything, not even for 5 to 10 minutes.
Many people continue to use the phrases and believe the phrases: “tested positive for covid,” and “tested negative for covid,” and “a positive covid test” and “a negative covid test.”

A simple search reveals much: what kind of test is a rapid covid test

There are currently three types of COVID-19 tests:

1. molecular tests (also known as nucleic acid, RNA or PCR tests). These tests have been much discussed on the blog, and even the USA government states these tests are not able to specifically detect covid-19, and can only detect presence of a virus.
“According to the FDA, the polymerase chain reaction [PCR] converts any virus RNA in your sample into DNA and “amplifies” it by making millions of copies of the DNA which the molecular test can then detect.

2. Antibody tests can only identify if you had the virus in the past.

3. Antigen tests. The presence of antigen indicates infection[infection does not mean sick or contagious]. However, for conditions like malaria, a large number of people test positive in endemic areas such as Africa and a quantitative assay is recommended.
In some cases, cross-reactions can lead to an antibody developed against a particular antigen to react with another antigen giving false positive results. False negative results are also observed often.
These tests are preliminary to laboratory tests and should be treated as such.

In other words, don't put all your hopes and dreams into the resuls of a rapid test that you think will tell you definitively whether or not you have covid or whether or not you will get sick or whether or not you are contagious. Most of the tests are not designed to be virus specific.

Per Führer Fauci on “Chris Hayes All In” on MSNBC on 12.28 and 12.29.21

Paraphrased: The predictive value of a test wanes after 5 days to say whether or not you are infected.
Tests were not validated based on number of days you've been infected [thus the longer you have been infected, the less reliable, the already unreliable tests are. A person who first takes a rapid test might be doing so several days after initial infection, thus relying on results in a false manner because the person doesn't know how long they've been infected]

Understand clearly that only some of the many types of tests have just recently, in the past few months, become better able to specifically detect covid. Thus all those tests in the past two years have been misleading since they have only been able to detect a small amount of virus in general, and not specifically covid.
