If you do not understand racism (white supremacy) and how it works, everything else you understand will only confuse you. - Neely Fuller

We need something to clarify everything for us, because we get confused...but if we use the concept of Asili, we will understand that whatever it is they are doing, whatever terms they use, however they come at you, you need to be thinking about what? How is this going to facilitate their power and help them to dominate me? -Marimba Ani

Shim`ons (Simon, Simeon) In New Testament
Unity Consciousness #548

.

In addition to Disciple Apostle Simon Cephas, there are several other Shim`ons in Jewish-Catholic-Christian Bibles.

Shim`on: Simon “Rock” Cephas

See separate messages UC 546-547.

Shim`on: Simeon In Jerusalem Who Blessed Baby Jeshua (Jesus)

When Jeshua (Jesus) was 8 days old, his parents took him to the Temple to do as the law of Moses required. Simon from Jerusalem, a man said to be righteous and devout, said Jeshua (Jesus) was the Messiah and then he blessed Jeshua (Jesus) and his parents. (Luke 2)

Shim`on: Simon In Bethany, The Pharisee Who Had Leprosy

Simon had leprosy. Jeshua (Jesus) healed him. Despite the crowd being there, he told Simon to tell no one; but as a testimony to the people, let the priest examine him. Simon told it anyway and went and started speaking freely about it. Jeshua (Jesus) could no longer enter a town openly so Jeshua (Jesus) stayed out in the country. (Matthew 8, Mark 1, Luke 5)

Simon lived in Bethany which is 2 miles from Jerusalem. After a period of time had passed after Jeshua (Jesus) healed Simon, Jeshua (Jesus) was eating at Simon's house when a woman from Bethany came in. This was Mary, sibling of Martha and Eleazar (Lazarus). She had an alabaster jar filled with pure oil of spikenard, very expensive perfume approached Jeshua (Jesus) while he was eating, she broke the jar and poured the perfume over his head. Luke 7 says she stood behind Jeshua (Jesus) at his feet and wept until her tears began to wet his feet. Then she wiped his feet with her own hair, kissed his feet and poured the perfume on them. Some of this does not seem possible if Jeshua (Jesus) is sitting down eating.
Simon, the former leper, said to himself, “a prophet would know she is a sinner.” Jeshua (Jesus) taught him by metaphor. Then he said to her, “Your sins have been forgiven.”
His disciples, including Judas Iscariot, became angry and said the perfume could have been sold for a lot of money and given to the poor. They scolded her. Jeshua (Jesus) said, “Let her be. What she could do, she did do. She was preparing his body in advance for burial.
At this dinner, Eleazar (Lazarus) was there after being raised from the dead. Martha was there and served the meal in the home of Simon, the former leper. This dinner was to honor Jeshua (Jesus) for raising Eleazar (Lazarus). (Matthew 26:6-13, Mark 1, 14, Luke 7, John 11, 12)

Shim`on: Simon In Samaria Who Practiced Magic

A man named Simon had been practicing magic for some time. He then came to believe the teachings of the disciples of Jeshua (Jesus). After he was immersed, he attached himself closely to apostle Philip. When Simon saw that the Spirit was given when the apostles placed their hands on them he offered them money. (Acts 8).

Shim`on: Simon In Joppa, A Leather Tanner

In Joppa, after Simon Cephas brought the disciple Tavita back to life, he stayed with Simon, a leather tanner.

Joppa borders the Great Green Sea (Mediterranean). Cornelius, a Roman officer, sent for Simon Cephas while Simon Cephas was staying with Simon., the leather tanner. (Acts 9, 10)
