We need something to clarify everything for us, because we get confused...but if we use the concept of Asili, we will understand that whatever it is they are doing, whatever terms they use, however they come at you, you need to be thinking about what? Meteorologists Are Suboptimal Predictors Of Patterns
Unity Consciousness #2086

A meteorologist is said to be a weather person, a weather forecaster, an expert in meteorology.

The American Meteorological Association says: A meteorologist is an individual with specialized education who uses scientific principles to explain, understand, observe or forecast the earth's atmospheric phenomena and/or how the atmosphere affects the earth and life on the planet.

The AMA goes on to say: Meteorology is the science of the atmosphere. It takes its name from the Greek word meteoron—something that happens high in the sky.

So far, you should at least be asking why is something related to weather based on the word meteor?

The current usage of the word meteorologist comes from the 1620s. It is a combination of meteorology + -ist. Thus meteorologyist that became meteorologist. About 50 years earlier the word was meteorologician. As we can see, this word reeks of and speaks of “magician.” The Greek word meteorologos meant "one who deals with celestial phenomena, astronomer."
Way back in the day, long before the 1570s, the word magician was a synonym for scientist, I.e, thus the magicians of Egypt and the rest of Africa had to be maligned in order to redefine what a scientist is. Science was narrowed down and dumbed down to the low level of understanding of those unable to to grasp optimal theory or African mythology as the trunk of all knowledge.

According to Etymology online, meteorology is the "science of the earth's atmosphere, scientific study of weather and climate," especially with a view to forecasting the weather, 1610s, from French météorologie and directly from Greek meteōrologia "treatise on celestial phenomena," literally "discussion of high things," from meteōron "thing high up" (see meteor) + -logia "treatment of" (see -logy).

When we look up the definition of meteor, we find glaring interesting inconsistency. A meteor is said to be defined in the late 15th century as, "any atmospheric phenomenon," from Old French meteore (13c.) and directly from Medieval Latin meteorum (nominative meteora), from Greek ta meteōra "the celestial phenomena, things in heaven above," plural of meteōron, literally "thing high up," noun use of neuter of meteōros (adj.) "high up, raised from the ground, hanging," from meta "by means of" (see meta-) + -aoros "lifted, lifted up, suspended, hovering in air," related to aeirein "to raise" (from PIE root *wer- (1) "to raise, lift, hold suspended").

Specific sense of "fireball in the sky, shooting star" is attested from 1590s. Atmospheric phenomena were formerly classified as aerial meteors (wind), aqueous meteors (rain, snow, hail), luminous meteors (aurora, rainbows), and igneous meteors (lightning, shooting stars). All the other senses have fallen away. When still in space beyond the atmosphere it is a meteoroid; when fallen to earth it is a meteorite. A periodically recurring fall of them (usually associated with a comet) is a meteor shower (by 1853).

We can easily see that the use of the words meteor, meteorology and meteorologist is currently jacked up.

Simply put, a meteor is celestial phenomena which includes solid matter in space and that enters Earth's atmosphere. This includes rain, snow and hail. All celestial bodies are meteors, moons, planets, suns, and so on. A meteor is also that which is unseen. A meteor is any manifestation of the meta-ar the meta-ur, the metaform, the metaphor, Ra, the Supreme Being. This includes sunlight, lightning, gravity, pressure, tension, polarity, wind and other forces.

in a much earlier sense, meteorology is the study of the above and how it affects the below. This includes natural and human-made phenomena on Earth and within Earth.

A meteorologist of ancient times is much more of a scientist than weather forecasters of today. Ancient scientists sought to understand much more and forecast much more than the weather. They were able to forecast events and changes in the spiritual, mental, emotional and physical, not just of Earth but in humans and in all creations. Weather forecasters of today are only meteorologists and scientists in the sense that a person who uses an electric football set, is a football player.

Shouldn't we expert a person called a meteorologist to be all about meteors?

As you can see, a significant part of the problem is that “high” became limited to mostly Earth's atmosphere to the exclusion of that which is high outside earth. Thus celestial comprehension was abandoned and partitioned into other fragmented fields such as astronomy, physics, geology and many other subcategories. This is why the current set of “scientists” are incapable of understanding climate change and most definitely not environmental change, and almost 100% of them do not incorporate understanding relating to Great Year cycles and patterns.
