In the USA it's just the opposite. Those with the most power conferred upon them by the society, are held to the lowest standard of accountability and are given the most benefit of the doubt and are given every plausible and implausible way out, including the hybrid plausible deniability.
This is easily evident when it comes to cops, military, politicians, business people and experts.Look at all the bad behavior, lying and law breaking these people do, yet the society excuses and overlooks it because to do otherwise would be an indictment of self. In the universe, the most power, responsibility and accountability lies with the Supreme Being.
On Earth it lies with many other creations.
Among humans, it lies with the original people.
