Shu-Si-Ra's Fire
by Akhemusekhiu (Ah-KAY-moo-say-kew)
Fire breathers sing the refrain, add another zero
Tefnut and Sekhet keep spitting inflaming innuendo
Until source crescendoes and four niles boil, overflow
Natural fires don't start big or wild
At least not in the way somebody told ya'
Even though complete as compiled
Small tame ones, wind aided as buffalo-footed soldiers
Rise as name ones, radiant unfolding child deep smiles
Even when suppressed, the irrepressible smolders
Ancient Ancient stibium traveling days and miles
Live coals embark as souls of the ever-coming Umoja
Gain ground despite resistance from the self-neglect vile
Holdback hopes smashed by raised stones karast into a boulder
Their combined khumidity makes heat seem colder, mild
Sparks fly buck wild as they rub shoulders
Sound Familiar?
“I stir up your pure minds by way of remembrance...there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts, And saying, Where is the promise of his coming?...But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men...The Lord is not slack concerning his promise...But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up...Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat? Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.” (2 Peter 3 of the Judaeo-Christian King James Version Bible)
