The sun is likened to a thornbush who went through the trials, tribulations and assaults of the underworld and was resurrected like the unbu who became benu. So it is the sun who is in control and who determines how things will go, how the elements will be commanded to establish the kingdom of the Sun, Ra, Khut-Ar-Makhta (God Almighty).

f) An earlier version of the same Egyptian story is the sun burning at the top of a sycamore-fig tree, the tree of life, the mother tree of Hathor-Nut.
