If you do not understand racism (white supremacy) and how it works, everything else you understand will only confuse you. - Neely Fuller

We need something to clarify everything for us, because we get confused...but if we use the concept of Asili, we will understand that whatever it is they are doing, whatever terms they use, however they come at you, you need to be thinking about what? How is this going to facilitate their power and help them to dominate me? -Marimba Ani

African Surname Applies To All Identities
Unity Consciousness #2681

(9azzzzzzx of 11)

Americans, in the sense of people in the USA, are actually named after the continent of the Americas.
These people in the USA are originally and primarily British, thus they are British Americans.
These people are actually European or Eurasian, depending on which one you prefer. Thus these people are actually either:
British European Americans or
British Eurasian Americans
Thus then if you didn't already know that African-American makes no good sense as a term of identity for Blacks (Africans), then perhaps now you can.
In the term “African-American,” replace “American” with its expanded version of what an American is really meant to represent. Thus we have either:
African-British-American or
African-British European American or
African-British-Eurasian-American or
African-British-Asian-American.
As you can see, none of these make good sense for Africans (Blacks).
Africans are Africans, that's it.
If skin color is used, there's still no need to say Black African because that's redundant because black is the original and default and dominant skin coloration of humans in optimal conditions.
To say White African, is appropriate, even though albinism existed in Africa.
To say, Brown African, Red African or Yellow African is inappropriate because those skin colorations also existed in Africa before existing elsewhere.
To say, “people of color” is just plain ridiculous, a white concoction okie doke to keep Africans from uniting and focusing on themselves, and instead include their enemies in their plight.
If skin color is not used as a means of identity, then, since Africa describes a continent and the entire Earth, then everyone who uses a geographic location as a means of identity should also be adding the surname of Africa.
Everyone is born of African genetics and is an African 100%.
