It’s 70 degrees warmer than normal in eastern Antarctica. Scientists are flabbergasted.https://www.msn.com/en-us/weather/topstories/it-e2-80-99s-70-degrees-warmer-than-normal-in-eastern-antarctica-scientists-are-flabbergasted/ar-AAVfk4m?ocid=uxbndlbing
Per an article dated March 18, 2022, ”The coldest location on the planet has experienced an episode of warm weather this week unlike any ever observed, with temperatures over the eastern Antarctic ice sheet soaring 50 to 90 degrees above normal. The warmth has smashed records and shocked scientists.”
There are two things taking place:1. the actual climate environmental change in Antarctica
2. the surprise of scientists who shouldn't be surprised if they understood anything about the history of climate change beyond a few hundred years.
Both of the planet's poles experience extreme heat, and Antarctica breaks records
