If you do not understand racism (white supremacy) and how it works, everything else you understand will only confuse you. - Neely Fuller

We need something to clarify everything for us, because we get confused...but if we use the concept of Asili, we will understand that whatever it is they are doing, whatever terms they use, however they come at you, you need to be thinking about what? How is this going to facilitate their power and help them to dominate me? -Marimba Ani

African Purpose Of Education
Unity Consciousness #1882

.

( 9aaq of 11)

Ancestors say what they always say in different ways. The purpose of education is to understand the proper use of power.

Ancestors also add that the purpose of education is to help us maintain what is right and solve what is wrong.

So then, tell me Africans, how a people without an economic foundation, will send their children to school to become accountants for instance. Or any number of jobs or professions or trades that do not help Africans maintain what is right about their collective or solve what is wrong?

A job is a temporary bandage that must be changed and eventually discarded. If this does not take place, the bandage will do more harm than good. And do so ever so slowly, hiding the infection until the pain appears.

Whenever you talk about education, being educated, mis-educated and uneducated, consider this:
True education is a liberating force. In other words, it does not tie you to a life where basic needs hinge on economy, jobs, stores, utility companies and other man-made dependencies.

Everything and everyone exist for the purpose of returning understanding to the Creator. We are the education of God.
We, the education of God, help God understand how to re-unify the Many, back into oneness.

All education involves self-education; however, there is no such thing as a good education without the awareness that self-education is involved, both as ongoing necessity. This is because a good education is the same thing as self-improvement.

There is no such thing as a person who has a good education, yet does not know self (who they are, where they came from and why they are here), This last point, incidentally, is not the same as a career.

Thus, evidence reveals that a good education bears little resemblance to today's formal education.
