Reparations is about repair.
You can't just throw a bunch of money at repairing a problem house and expect the house to be repaired.
No, instead it takes diagnosing and addressing all deficiencies in a coordinated manner.
Money alone will never do or serve as an appropriate totality of reparations for racism.
Money alone does not address the roots of racism nor the fruits of racism nor the big ass saber-tooth that racism uses to bite into everything and is still holding onto for dear of its feared life.
Let us be clear to understand that money is acceptable; however as a first step.
Secondly let us be clear to understand that money must come from multiple sources, government, institutions such as banks, businesses, corporations, universities, private, non-profits, churches and so on wherever the money has been dispersed worldwide.
No reparations will be sufficient unless it repairs and restores the entire house to its original condition, including the grounds. Thus reparations must address all the ills racism has caused. Racism is global and so must also be reparations for all disenfranchised people in the most disfavored group first.
Once Africans get their full reparations, then Africans will see to it that everyone else gets theirs.
