If you do not understand racism (white supremacy) and how it works, everything else you understand will only confuse you. - Neely Fuller

We need something to clarify everything for us, because we get confused...but if we use the concept of Asili, we will understand that whatever it is they are doing, whatever terms they use, however they come at you, you need to be thinking about what? How is this going to facilitate their power and help them to dominate me? -Marimba Ani

How Hearts Become Lighter Than A Feather
Unity Consciousness #2104

.

( 9ajc of 11)

The basic judgment for salvation rebirth is determined by whether or not the heart is lighter than a feather.

Clearly this weighing of the heart is not a physical weighing against a physical feather. A physical heart can never be lighter than a physical feather. No not even a dehydrated heart can be lighter than the feather of Maat, even though it's an ostrich feather.
The feather is a metaphor for the two truths of Maat. These two truths are in balance. Thus, if a heart follows the logic of Maat, that heart will be in balance with the feather of Maat.
The problem is, a heart in balance with the feather IS NEITHER lighter nor heavier than a feather.
The salvation of rebirth comes only if the heart is lighter than a feather.

So How Can A Heart Be Lighter Than The Feather Of Maat?

Maat represents understanding. That understanding is of the two truths which represent balance and harmony. A basis metaphor of this balance and harmony is the relationship between darkness and lightness. Even if a person does not conceive of truth in this fashion, every person understands several forms of these two truths. For example, in the form of love and hate or wet and dry or hot and cold or healthy and sick or life and death or any two pairs. We understand these truths are two sides of the same coin and must be in balance in order for life to function properly. Based on any one of these pairs of truths, we can understand Maat, even if we have no idea what Maat is.
Therefore then, the Maat by which we are personally judged is the combination of two truths we do understand.
We are judged based on our individual understanding of two truths. We are responsible for our own logic. We can't blame it on our parents, school, religion, country, culture or anything else. Every person has access to enough examples of the two truths in order for that person to develop balanced logic.

If judgment (the weighing of the heart) was based on the perfected understanding of all sets of two truths, then absolutely no one would ever be reborn because we would all fall woefully short of this epitome perfection of behavior because our thinking would be inadequate in some aspect. However, this inadequacy is not sufficient to excuse us from basic balanced thinking and behavior. We already know that we all know right from wrong and fair from unfair. Those two alone are enough to be judged by. This is what forms the basic of our personal Maat, our personal feather, our personal judge.

Our heart can be lighter than a feather if we
(1) do the better we know we should do and
(2) don't do the worse we know we should not do.

This then is the generally stated individual version of the two truths by which we all are judged. Thus we are not allowed to claim that “we didn't know.” This customized individual version of the two truths that is unique to each person, includes the requirement to continuously improve in doing more of the better and less of the worse. We are not allowed to measure out the amount of corrective behavior we implement by just saying I'll do a little more of this and a little less of that. No, instead we must do better to the degree we know better and as soon as we know better.
Thus then, the ultimate difference that makes a heart lighter than one's personal understanding of truth, is the how quickly change is made and how much. This change brings us into greater alignment and harmony the Supreme Maat. It also gives us as much time as possible to accumulate deeds based on improved understanding and for those effects to multiply exponentially as they travel through existence.
This is the way we help restore Maat in multiple ways by raising that which should be raised and razing that which should be razed.

The heart only has to be lighter than a feather.

This might seem contradictory to what was just said above. The heart only has to slightly lighter in order for spirit-soul to receive the salvation of rebirth. Thus a person could squeak by and skate by into the second life of rebirth called salvation.
However, Maat will not be mocked.
Therefore to the degree of difference between one's heart and their understandings, is the degree to what type of life we are reborn into. This then determines the set of conditions we are born into. These conditions are designed to teach us the understandings we still need.

We must be reminded that under no circumstances does the personal judgment of weighing the heart involve the weighing of the physical heart against a physical feather.
We are actually taking about weighing the spiritual heart against the spiritual feather.
Thus we are talking about weighing spirit-soul against spiritual understandings. Be certain that spiritual understandings are a part of all understandings.
Even so, the physical heart is very important, and not just because it pumps blood.
The physical heart is the composite metaphor of spirit-soul that pumps liquid essence throughout the body of our micro universe.
Thus the most complete form of intelligence in humans is not head-centered.
We continue to expand to another level by rethinking the phrase “birds of a feather flock together.” We can now see how people with the same logic understanding of truth will behave similarly and ultimately move together even if they are miles apart. They will also suffer the same fate of second life or second death.

And again we expand.
Inherent in our personal judgment is also collective judgment. We cannot escape being responsible for a portion of the overall judgment meted out to collectives. This is so because we help form the thinking and behavior of each collective we identify with.
Everything is multi-layered and multifaceted, because Maat is, thus so is the basis of (judgment, salvation rebirth).
This is how and why species come and go, rise and fall, flourish and falter and remnants survive.
Be certain that whatever has been created, a remnant always survives.
Also, that whatever creation exerts the greatest influence for however long, that creation is always replaced by another version of the same or a different species.

Thus, we come back around again to be reminded that our judgment includes us as individuals and us as part of collectives. If we give a lot of our logic over to collectives, then so also will our judgment be based largely on those collectives. This is so because our identifying with those collectives gives energy to those collectives.

So this message is basically saying that it's up to each one of to shape the nature of our own judgment, the weight of our own feather. We create the feather by which we are judged. We are our own book of life. We are our own, judge, jury and executor and executioner of our our spirit-soul. There are no mistakes and no escapes. I am the potentate who self-destroys and self-creates.

12.04.20 Update

The doors of the Great Per-Neter were so supremely balanced that a child could open them with one finger. Thus, balance of two truths on the vantage point causes neither truth to be weighty, instead the weight is borne by the fulcrum of the vantage point where the two are one, in all aspects in perfect harmony. This then is how the heart's logic, spirit logic, can be lighter than a feather. To the degree more of our logic is in balance is the degree to which our logic does not burden the world. For example, too much light is a burden, as is too much love, peace, forgiveness and creation without a change in cycle towards darkness, hate, war, vengeance and destruction. There is a time and place for all truths to manifest. Our appropriate usage of balanced logic is what makes it possible for our hearts, the central repository of our understandings, to be lighter than a feather.
