We are told not to flush old or unused medication down the toilet.
It's because these drugs can get into waterways, including the ground water, thus water supply.
Now that this is written down and specifically focused on, the obvious question, perhaps jumps out.
If this is true of medication that is flushed, then it must be true of everything else that is flushed. Shouldn't it?
Yet we are told sewage is purified and cleansed before being returned to the environment, yet not enough to remove medication, but enough to remove feces and tissue and urine and other pathogens and toilet cleaner and whatever else we flush.
So the masses run around not flushing medication and continuing to drink the water supplied by the water-sewer companies of our cities.
