But about Kobe I would always hear
I hated Kobe because he made me fear
Yes I hated that Laker named Bryant
Because for his team, he was usually reliant
When he was on the court with the ball or not
Kobe always seem to make a play on the spot
Kobe in a close game gave me stress
I hated Kobe like I did several of the rest
Because he was always among the best
Kobe exemplified the sport in the game
Simplified it to hard work equals ong reign
In my later years of basketball maturedness
I can admit to and appreciate Kobe's greatness
