They say, “Once Omicron is through ravaging the world, enough people will have acquired natural immunity that, together with those who have been vaccinated, the virus is suppressed to more or less permanently low levels in the population. ”
I say, pay attention to the phrase “those who have acquired natural immunity.” It means the unvaccinated, who for the past two years have been supposedly the main problem with their unscientific claims of natural immunity.
They say, "Once you get a high proportion of the population with some immunity—and we're getting close to that now—then you'll have each successive variant causing less and less of a problem,”
I say, the phrase “some immunity” means immunity naturally or via vaccine and not necessarily all three vaccine doses. Thus it's not necessary to be “fully vaccinated” according to the unscietific ever-changing definition of what fully vaccinated means.
They say, “The sheer numbers of people being infected all at once, however, is straining hospitals and public health systems—even a less-severe virus that is so highly contagious will put a lot of people in the hospital. Omicron is also proving to be a significant threat to vulnerable populations, such as people who are old or have compromised immune systems. Unvaccinated people may be as much as 13 times as likely to die as those who are fully vaccinated, according to data from the Centers for Disease Control. Vaccination rates in some of the world's poorest countries are a sixth of what they are in the United States.”
I say, the numbers in low vaccination rate countries do not support the CDC's assertions. The USA has the highest death rates according to earlier data from the CDC, as discussed elsewhere on this blog.
I'm still waiting on Eurasian media to report that tens of thousands of Africans are dying. There has been no such reports because it's not happening. Thus they can't use this to scare African Blacks in the Diaspora to rush and get vaccinated, even as the USA has prioritized giving black folks the vaccine first.
They say, “There's broad agreement that—eventually—SARS-CoV-2 will become "endemic," meaning it will more or less fade into the background, flaring up occasionally, perhaps once in a while reaching pandemic levels, perhaps requiring vaccinations to stem outbreaks. But overall, the expectation is that it will settle into something more like one of the many infectious diseases we already live with, such as HIV, influenza, or RSV, which usually causes cold-like symptoms but can be dangerous to young children and older people.
“While it might be a forever virus, I don't think it will be a forever crisis. That expectation comes mainly from the history of other infectious diseases rather than any fundamental knowledge about SARS-CoV-2.”
I say, if there is not “any fundamental knowledge” about SARS-CoV-2, then that means there must not be any fundamental knowledge about viruses in general. This can be said because what is fundamental is transferable to other understandings about the same thing in a different form.
They say, “ It's somewhat more likely that vaccinations during childhood could protect people well into adulthood against severe disease. Or the virus could turn out to be something more troubling, like influenza, which evolves quickly to evade immune-system protections and requires vaccination every year against new variants.
I say, yet there has never been an influenza pandemic declared or restrictions, mandates, lockdowns and an all out assault push that you must get the yearly influenza vaccine, or else be subject to certain death.
Expect South Africa, France and the USA to concoct another set of lies as to why they also are now all of a sudden scientifically justified to back off on the restrictions and mandates, even as these countries also claim an overwhelming number of cases exist. The USA has used the neat trick of getting the Supreme Court to cancel mandates so that Fauci and company don't have to explain that the mandates are not necessary, are ineffective, stupid and heinous.
As said before, it has never made sense that vaccinated and unvaccinated children can go to the same school and use masks; however, vaccinated and unvaccinated adults cannot be in the same workplace or other spaces, even if the unvaccinated or all of them wear masks.
Lastly, all along the way, television and internet news have made sure to announce when someone dies of covid who was unvaccinated, but I have not yet heard or seen a single news story about those who have been dying of adverse effects from the vaccine or who have other complications from the vaccines. This is like used car salespersons who tamper with the odometer and don't tell you the car has been in an accident and in a flood. They want you to buy what they are selling not matter the product being in good condition.
