If you do not understand racism (white supremacy) and how it works, everything else you understand will only confuse you. - Neely Fuller

We need something to clarify everything for us, because we get confused...but if we use the concept of Asili, we will understand that whatever it is they are doing, whatever terms they use, however they come at you, you need to be thinking about what? How is this going to facilitate their power and help them to dominate me? -Marimba Ani

Abortion Rights & Pre-Offence Justice
Unity Consciousness #2589

(9azzzl of 11)

This is another quick message about a subject recently discussed that shows the contradictions of those who are for a woman's right to control her body, but are against a person's right to choose not to get vaccinated.

Per JULIE RIKELMAN, CENTER FOR REPRODUCTIVE RIGHTS: Yes, a few points if I may, Your Honor. First, of course those very same arguments with argument were made in Casey and the court rejected them saying that philosophical disagreements can`t be resolved in a way that a woman has no choice in the matter.

And second, I don`t think it would be a neutral position. The Constitution provides a guarantee of liberty. The court has interpreted that liberty to include the ability to make decisions related to child bearing, marriage, and family.

Women have an equal right to liberty under the constitution, Your Honor, and if they`re not able to make this decision, if states can take control of women`s bodies and force them to endure months of pregnancy and childbirth, then they will never have equal status under the Constitution.

I Repeat The Obviously Not So Obvious

These are the same people who deny people the choice to get vaccinated or not because if you do not, you are punished and restricted and cutoff from the means to provide for your basic needs and enjoy the rights of others; thus the choice to not get vaccinated is not a choice, but rather is built into the culture and laws and peer pressure and family pressure as cutting you off from equal status as a person and a citizen, something which African Blacks still don't have in this country, despite whoever might claim otherwise and despite the tiny few crumbs of post-offence justice that occurs instead of pre-offence justice.
