Amazingly, in places like the USA, there are programs for baseball, football, basketball, gymnastics and other sports that are available to children from a young age, through to college and through to professional sports and their minor leagues.This is a glaring indicator you live in a society, not a civilization.
There are no such widespread multi-year programs for any other subject or area of study or career choice, except for perhaps intermittent science fairs, spelling bees, girl scouts, boy scouts, 4H and ROTC, inasmuch as this handful of examples can be considered having the same continuous stage by stage developmental intent as the many levels of sports leagues.
