Both “rest” and “res” contain the concept of “re” and “ra” - the supreme being (spirit-soul-space-time). With “rest” and “res” the Egyptian-Nile Valley form is easier to see. Even before we go any farther and further, we can begin to remember that even the supreme being needs rest and restitution, thus so does spirit-soul and space and time. And so does Earth and all it contains.

English “rest” comes from Egyptian-Nile Valley “res”.

“Rest” carries a one-sided meaning of slowing down or stopping, but “res carries multi-truth meanings of cessation, action and more, some of which are detailed below.

”Res” or “Ras” or “Les” or “Las” means:

1. to suspend motion or action (BB 165, pdf 177)

2. to raise or be raised up, as in resurrection.
This is symbolized by all four corners of the circle: vernal equinox (the first stop or half-raised heaven), summer solstice (the second stop or halfway heaven), the autumn equinox (third stop or half-lowered heaven) and winter solstice (the last stop or complete heaven or beginning).
Equinoxes and solstices apply to the lesser year and the Great Year. Thus ras, res, les and las apply to the annual initial rising of spring in winter and initial rising of summer in spring, initial rising of autumn in summer and initial rising of winter in autumn.
Res also applies to both sides of the Equinoctial Age and both sides of the Solstitial Age. (BB 298-9, pdf 310-11), (BB 307, pdf 319)
the name of the south,
South is the direction toward which the sun ascends to summer solstice. (BB 307, pdf 319), (BB 411-12, pdf 423-24)

3. to watch.
This watching is performed by the repa as many, the ever-coming ones waiting their turn at the corners of the circle (Terui, Kep-en-terui, Ha-Keb). (BB 411-12, pdf 423-24)
These souls of life and star constellations are called rekh and lekh. They are all-seeing eyes who lie in wait, spy out, announce, make visible and restore lost or concealed truth and justice, and through astronomical knowledge and other ways of knowing, reveal the future. All this is accomplished as the Makheru true voice of the outgoing Age, transforms into prepubescent Tum who is being nurtured by the incoming Age to become the next Makheru. The overall Repa, the repa as one, is called the“Resh” and is symbolized by three feathers which represent a temple and absolute entire joy and fulfillment. Resh is related to English fresh, rush, bliss. (The bliss of favored groups is fading fast which is why they are showing their ass.) The three black and white ostrich feathers are the especial symbol of the prince of peace, the heir-apparent, the revealed out front representative of the Three Truths, the Trinity of Mother, Father & Child. 4. absolutely, entirely.
With the terminal “t” we obtain the word “rest” (BB 70, pdf 82), (BB 102, pdf 114)
Rest is also formed from Urs, the name of a pillow or head-rest. Urst means to pillow. This is not known as Egyptian. (BB 161, pdf 173)

5. “AS” is the sepulchre, the chamber of rest, of birth and re-birth, the maternal abode. Thus, typical of recent times, we have the vulgar bastardization of “sit on your ass” meaning do nothing, thus be at rest. (BB 391, pdf 403)

The Kar-AS or Ka-ras is the sepulchre as resting-place below.

Karast, Karest, Krast, Christ is the mummified soul of life in the Karas that returns. (BB 295-6, pdf 307-8)

Freeing your mind and the rest willingly follows is true. Rest is a form of Karest, thus Christ. Thus the saying becomes “free your mind and the savior will follow.” Free your mind and the rising will follow the raising up of the kingdom of god in consciousness.

6. We can now see how the phrase, “rest in peace” is the same as “resting place”.

Res, resh, rest, restoration, restitution and resurrection have many meanings, some of which are healing, making whole, ceasing or slowing motion, restoring motion (raising vibrations), placing something on something else, tying to restrict, restrain, connect, entirety and that which remains.

Additional Connections To Res and Rest

We can now see that although res and les have the same meaning, that together as resles (restless) they can produce the opposite meaning. So also does rekh lekh and rekh les as reckless.

“San” means to charm, heal, restore, save and immerse, thus Sankofa and Sanctuary contain these meanings. (BB 450, pdf 462), (BB 256, pdf 268)

“Khen” means to alight, rest, reveal, settle, settler. (BB 308, pdf 320)
Khen is also sanctuary, womb, cocoon, tomb, shrine, house, cell, grave, breathing place to resuscitate and catch one's breath.

“Ka” is to call, cry, figure, stand, stay, rest or be thrown to the earth. Ka is the seat, throne, land, earth, stone, floor. Ka is the Phallus and the God. Where we call to “Sta” (stand) or “Stay” (stop), the Egyptians said “Ka” and uplifted two arms, this is the hieroglyphic figure of the full-stop, earlier “ St.” (BB 170, pdf 182)

”Ster” gives rise to stir and rest which are opposites. Ster also gives rise to stare and rest which are synonyms.
The Ser or Tser is the rock of the horizon. This rock, the Ser-en-Tep, is at the initial point, where the solar ark carrying the sun child rested in the birthplace of the beginning. (BB 452, pdf 464)

The “Stool,” is the lowly seat or the footrest. Stool comes from Ster, the couch. (BB 409 pdf 421)

English “settle” is a form of “seter” which means rest. (BB 72, pdf 84)

Ster-t is another form of Ster which means to be laid or stretched out. From Ster-t comes “Start.” The Ster, Ster-t and Start Point is the couch of the dead. This includes the AS (chamber, resting-place). (BB 276, pdf 288)

Ster yields “Ser” which means seed and zero and soul. We can see the similarity between Ser and Zer and Cir.

We know Ser is the duality of the two truths. We can now consider that “rest assured” is the same as “res-t-as-ser.” Thus when we say or are told to “rest assured” what we are saying is that we can allow our minds to rest, settle and stand firm on what we are saying, being told, believe or know. That that information is entirely sufficient as a basis of thinking and behavior because it is in balance.
