As long as you can control the institutions, you can control the [thinking and] behavior of people. - Dr. Bobby E. Wright
If you do not understand racism (white supremacy) and how it works, everything else you understand will only confuse you. - Neely Fuller
We need something to clarify everything for us, because we get confused...but if we use the concept of Asili, we will understand that whatever it is they are doing, whatever terms they use, however they come at you, you need to be thinking about what? How is this going to facilitate their power and help them to dominate me? -Marimba AniSunday, February 9, 2020

António Guterres is now the Secretary General of the United Nations since 2017. From 1995 to 2002 he was Prime Minister of Portugal. In between those times he also worked for the UN.
He decides to give a sweet speech about solidarity with Africa, peace, prosperity and human rights in Africa, strategic partnership between AU and UN. He said this was of enormous importance to the world. He spoke about fair globalization so Africa no longer suffers from unfair trading and financial rules and subsidies[in foreign countries that hurt African industries via cheaper imports]. He spoke of ending market distortions [intentional] and other policies [manipulations] that disadvantage Africa. He said there is a need to help Africa deal with climate change, especially since Africa has done the least to cause climate change. He said there needs to be more financing for Africa. He did not say we need to give grants or reparations for all the wrong we, the colonizers, have done.
Antonio Guterres was the Prime Minister of Portugal. In 1482, Portugal set off the enslavement of African with its Elmina Castle Slave Dungeon in Ghana. Portugal colonized Angola and Brazil and Mozambique, Guinea-Bissau, Sao Tome & Principe. Portugal was shipping Africans to the USA for enormous profits.
On the UN Website it says Guterres is determined to make human dignity the core of his work, and to serve as a peace broker, a bridge-builder and a promoter of reform and innovation. Guterres didn't do anything about reparations when he was Prime Minister of Portugual and has not since 2017, even though the UN, in 2001, wrote a report that reparations were due and overdue.
He did give the island of Macau to China.
During his tenure as Prime Minister of Portugal, he created full employment, poverty was alleviated by a minimum guaranteed income, taxes lowered, joined the euro, 700,000 people became home-owners, nursery schooling was provided for all, pensions were increased and more university locations.
