Is not this written in the book of Jasher? (Joshua 10:13), (2 Samuel 1:18)When encountering the statement above, most people, no matter their religious affiliation, will, in one minute or less, come to a conclusion that they don't believe what's in the Book of Jasher. Now we focus in on those who have paid the price no matter what it costs to remain a subscriber to what is sometimes called Abrahamic religions.
It is contradictory to believe the Jewish-Christian Bible, yet disbelieve other scriptures referred to in that JC bible. Belief is a topic much discussed.
Belief too long relied upon without corroboration to the whole, will make you dislike others because you hate the thought of being fooled by your own belief because you are too intelligent for that and all you have to do to prove it is compare yourself to others.
Thus by only comparing a tiny part to a tiny part, and only comparing human to human, we double down on the incompleteness of thought and belief, and feel good because we thought about it using the same thought process and same information without further investigation. Belief is, and always will be, a hypothesis. Hypothesis is what you think, before further investigation and corroborating information.
Knowledge is, and always will be, a hyperthesis. Hyperthesis is what you understand as the result of the continuous process above. We can name the thought processes used above, that stagnantly ties us to many beliefs, “The Jasher Hypothesis.”
The Jasher Hypothesis is one that uses belief to disallow other belief, rather than mature its own belief into knowledge so it can properly assess other beliefs in a balanced, non-contradictory manner.
The Jasher Hypothesis is a form of plausible deniability, which is, simply stated, “as long as we believe something is true or false, then it is, and that's all there is to it.
So finally, as long I believe I love me some me, I do. Self-love is immature unless knowledge of self continuously evolves in keeping with our physical age, to help us understand another more fuller level of who we are and why we are here. The Jasher Hypothesis is its own conclusion. This then, whether we call it hypothesis, belief, conclusion, decision or choice, ties us, do or die, to truth or lie.
We only give ourselves one shot to get it right when we use belief in the context of The Jasher Hypothesis. And this is why, due to the weakness and fragility of our self-esteem, we stick with belief, even when we know it's incorrect.
We are weak-minded because we are four times malnourished, which goes back to knowledge of self and the many forms of love it takes to maintain health. Think about the following ever-present example:
We use “getting to know someone better and better” as a means to understand and determine our love for that person. That process of getting to know someone better is continuous, nonstop and involves all experiences and involves going back and continuously double-checking what we know now with what we thought we knew earlier. This is how we basically go about loving others. At least when it comes to those not in our “immediate” families. Therefore then, how can I be sure I love me some me if I am not also using the same process for myself and getting to know me better and better?
